Dorset Cereals are made from award-winning recipies: a luxurious blend of grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds. Served with milk, yoghurt, or fruit juice, they make a delicious and nutritious breakfast or snack. Or add your own topping: apple chunks, banana slivers, chopped grapes, cream, or kiwi slices.

The seven recipes are high in wholegrain and fibre, low in fat and sodium, and don't have added preservatives, salt, or sugar. They come in two sizes: a family size, from about 690gms to 850gms depending on the recipie, and an individual size, about 100gms.

Berries And Cherries is a generous mix of blackcurrants, blueberries, flame raisins, cherries, cranberries, raspberries, and sultanas, blended with barley, oat, and wheat flakes. The fruit content is about 50%.

Cranberry, Cherry, And Almond is an exquisite blend of cranberries, cherries, almonds, flame raisins, sultanas, and sunflower seeds, mixed with toasted barley, oat, and wheat flakes. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 50%.

Fruit, Nuts, And Seeds is a tasty mixture of apricots, bananas, flame raisins, sultanas, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, blanched flaked almonds, and whole hazelnuts, blended with barley, oats, and toasted wheat flakes. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 45%.

Really Nutty Muesli is a crunchy mix of almonds, brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, apricots, dates, flame raisins and multi grain flakes. The fruit and nut content is about 40%.

Simply Delicious Muesli is a scrumptious blend of dates, juicy jumbo flame raisins, sunflower seeds, roasted hazelnuts and brazil nuts, mixed with multi-grain flakes. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 30%.

Super High Fibre is a really delicious blend of apricots, dates, juicy flame raisins, sunflower seeds, toasted coconut, and roasted hazelnuts, mixed with multi-grain flakes. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 50%.

Organic Fruit, Nuts, And Seeds is a tasty mix of organically grown brazils, pumpkin seeds, raisins, sultanas, sunflower seeds, and multi-grain flakes. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 40%.

Toasted Spelt Flakes are deliciously light, crunchy and nutty, and high in fibre. They're mixed with a delicious blend of dates, chilean flame raisins, juicy pineapple, sultanas, almonds, roasted hazelnuts, and pumpkin seeds. The fruit, nut, and seed content is about 45%.

Dorset Cereals has won several awards, including a Gold Great Taste Award for the Berries And Cherries recipe and two Silver Great Taste Awards for Fruit, Nuts, and Seeds and the Really Nutty Muesli.

They won the International Trade category of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2006, six Taste Of The West Gold Awards, including best packaging, and a Natural And Organic Award for best packaging design.

The recipies are generously rich in grains, fruits, and nuts, and include some of the following: barley, oats, spelt, wheat, agave, apricots, bananas, blackcurrants, blueberries, cherries, coconuts, cranberries, dates, flame raisins, pineapples, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, brazils, cashews, dates, and hazelnuts.

Spelt has a fragile gluten structure that's more water soluble than modern wheat, making it easier to digest: so it's ideal for anyone on a low-wheat diet.
Spelt grains have an extra strong shell which helps retain nutrients. It's a slow-energy-release food, high in fibre, iron, and B vitamins, favoured by nutritionists. It's not grown a lot because the yields are lower and the tough shell is more difficult to work with than modern wheat varieties.
